SUBARU FREESKIING WORLD TOUR QUALIFIER AT TELLURIDE, CO.

The Telluride event is a Freeskiing World Tour qualifier (FWTQ), which means athletes who finish in the top spots (top five men, top three women -previously not pre-qualified) do not have to do the onsite qualifier at Crested Butte, Kirkwood and Snowbird.

The Telluride event will be a two-day event; all others will consist of one to two qualifying days followed by two FWT competition days. Only the FWT competition days will count toward final score and overall points.

If an athlete qualifies to compete in a FWT competition day, that qualification only counts toward that specific event. For example, athletes who qualify for the Subaru US Freeskiing Nationals at Snowbird will not automatically qualify for the Subaru North American Freeskiing Championships at Kirkwood. Athletes will have to go thru the qualification process again if their points have not qualified them for the FWT competition day.
